So I got my project passed at the last classroom. Meaning, it fit the criteria.

So what am I doing?

Basically it's starting up a youth group for Ngaruahine (my tribe).
Milestones:
- 100% representation (not participation) of all hapuu (sub-tribes) of Ngaruahine.
- Out of the group, identify 5 to go on Outward Bound (don't ask me how, it's just that it's gonna happen)
- 4 noho/events/hui/wananga/activities (haven't actually thought which) by the 1st of June
- And...create an events calendar/newsletter for the group. (I want this to be an ongoing thing)

There are more details to it, but I gotta go for now. Will keep this updated.

So I'm doing the last course in the Landmark Education Curriculum and it requires for me to do a community project.

Oh my gosh. A community project. My own and no one else's. I have to come up with a project, something that totally inspires me. Touch, move and inspire. Me. For my target community.

Yay!

But on the other hand...OH MY GOSH.

Hmm.

At least by the end of the course (June 1st) I'll have all the skills and some knowledge on how to go about creating something (my project) from practically nothing (it's not funded or anything, I have to come up with that myself).
So I'll be more clued up into project managing and how I go about it.

Crazy.

And I'm loving it. (When I'm not acting that is...lol)

But yeah, I have an idea on a youth development project, my iwi (tribe) is the target community...or else the marae that come are in my iwi. And ultimately the possibility for my project is leadership and transformation would you know... Big surprise.

I'm just thinking about what it's gonna take...and it's gonna take a lot on my part.

Oh well.
